        Directions to American Sporthorse:
For those of you with GPS: use the farm address of 1177 Buena Vista Drive, Watsonville, CA 95076

From Highway 1 in Watsonville (south of Santa Cruz, north of Monterey) take the "Buena Vista Drive" exit and turn West on Buena Vista (towards the ocean) go 0.5-6 mile to the sign on the left that reads "American Sporthorse". Small cottage near the road, 2 gates on the split driveway.

The electric gate opens with a push button next to the keypad during the day, by private code during the night to enter AND to exit.
The button to exit is at the TOP of the hill, not down by the gate. The gate is timed to only be open for ONE CAR/TRAILER to pass,
about 30 seconds, if you find it open, and don't see a car immediately nearby, wait for it to close and then re-activate the open button.

If hauling, from 101, we recommend taking San Juan Road or Hwy 129, as Hwy 17 has no shoulder to pull over to in case of any trouble and Hwy 152 is very twisty and difficult and won't allow larger/longer trailers. Once on Buena Vista, the turn to the Farm is on a bend to the right, so please be careful turning across the road.

Unless very rainy/wet, all parking is in the large field past the covered arena on the LEFT, please follow the posted signs.
Please leave your dogs at home or in your vehicle.

ASTM/SEI Helmets are required for all riders while riding on ASH property. No smoking in the covered arena or near ANY barn area.

ALL VISITING HORSES: Please take temps for 3 days prior to arrival and do not come if any signs of illness or unexplained elevated temperature. While on site, no nose to nose contact, do not pet or contact horses that are not in your travel pod. Practice biosecurity and do all. you can to keep everyone's horse safe. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the show grounds.

Schooling horses are welcomed if held to same health standards as show horses. We ask you do not use the warmup to school during show hours to allow show competitors as spacious and peaceful a warmup as possible. At the close of the show, you are welcome to school in either arena. Grounds fee of $30 applies to schooling horses.

Accomodations:
All within 2-5 miles from the farm. For longer stays, there are vacation rentals available in many locations. Some like the Pajaro Dunes Condos on the beach about 10 minutes drive from the farm. Search for "Pajaro Dunes Rentals" - many can sleep 7-10 folks and be very reasonable.
